COURSES

All programmes are composed of modules and units

after consultation with the relevant experts and meet the National Commission for Further and Higher Education (NCFHE) requirements.  They are built using ECTS, based on a total of 25 hours of learning per credit.


Once the course completed, the enrolled candidate will receive a recognised certificate.

For paying candidates, 75% of the course can be REIMBURSED with The Training Pays Scheme of Jobsplus.

These classes will go through the bases of the English language.
This is aimed at the people with little knowledge to acquire level A1. A very basic ability to communicate and exchange information in a very simple way. A graded placement test and an individual interview will determine the learners ‘level’ and they will be placed in a class within the level of their English communication skills.

This course will introduce the learner to basic mathematics. This enables learner to become confident and hence more self-sufficient by being able to reason out numeracy situations commonly  encountered in everyday life.

Participants will learn how to write simple messages and/or short paragraphs about different topics in Maltese. Participants will also practice verbally in order to be able to express themselves in a presentable way in their daily lives situations.

 The purpose of this award is to introduce learners to the different employment opportunities available on the market and raise awareness as to how they can better research career opportunities advertised in different sources. The purpose of this course is to teach students the importance of self-awareness. The course stresses that differences in personal style are not right or wrong, but rather one must make the most of one’s uniqueness.

The purpose of this module is to teach students how to control their anger. Throughout our lives we experience a variety of emotions but often we are not taught how to handle them and they can, thus, lead to aggression culminating in social problems. This unit is designed to enable a Learner to understand different elements fundamental to business accounting and finance.
The Award focuses on principles of financial accounting, financial reporting and management accounting. In addition, the purpose of the course is to enable learners to acquire skills in computerized accounting, calculating costs and cash flow as well as a range of tools for financial analysis.

Award in Leadership & Management

This Award is designed to provide learners with an understanding of key leadership and management concepts which will be applied to the context of their work. Many employees find themselves in management positions without any formal training in what management and leadership means for the overall performance of the organisation.
Thus the aim in delivering this qualification is to fulfil these training needs by introducing management concepts to aspiring managers and those already occupying management positions.
